Brent T. Huddleston joined the Law Offices of Richard A. Gump, Jr. in October 2002.  He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1998.  Brent earned a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in May 2002.  Brent is certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Brent attended Texas Tech University on a baseball scholarship, and was named All-Academic Honorable Mention in the Big 12 Conference for classroom excellence while a member of the baseball team.  He also was awarded the Texas Tech University Merit Award for his achievements as a student athlete.

Brent concentrates primarily on business and employment related immigration law.  His practice includes assisting employers with hiring, retaining and obtaining work authorization for foreign national employees.  Brent also assists employers with worksite compliance issues to minimize potential liability associated with the verification of employment authorization of foreign nationals.

Brent has represented foreign nationals in a wide variety of fields to obtain legal permanent residency under the difficult extraordinary ability employment based category.   Brent's clients in this arena have included top medical professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes and entertainers, and he frequently represents current and former players on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour as part of his practice.
