Entrepreneur and Investor Immigration Visas (EB-5)

Individuals making a capital investment in the United States may be able to obtain permanent resident status through their investment in a new commercial enterprise. The investment must meet certain thresholds set by federal law, including a qualifying dollar amount (e.g., a million dollars), a benefit to the U.S. economy, and the creation of new jobs in the U.S. Contact a Dallas investor visa lawyer at our firm for more information.

Treaty Traders and Treaty Investors - E-1 and E-2 Non-Immigrant Visas

Treaty traders may enter the U.S. for the purpose of substantial trading between trader's home county and the U.S. To enter for this purpose, the trader must obtain an E-1 visa and the home country must have a treaty with the United States. The E-1 visa also covers treaty country personnel transferring to U.S. location to operate or set-up the business, including managers, executives, and other key specialists. Treaty traders and personnel may have their families qualify for immigrant status under this visa as well.

Under an E-2 visa, a treaty investor seeks to enter the United States to operate, manage, or develop their business investment. Usually representing a major investment in the United States and staying for extended periods of time. Family members of investors may qualify for this visa status also.

Our attorneys provide quality investment and corporate structuring for international investors, and have helped them attain E nonimmigrant visas. Depending on your needs as a treaty trader or investor, we can determine what type of visa is needed to procure temporary or permanent residency status.
